A13＿京島をアルバムにする　Kyojima Cutout

　「京島をアルバムにする」は京島の少し昔の写真を素材として、まちに流れた時間やそこで生きた人たちの記憶を再生し、共有する試みです。写真の中の人物の等身大パネルを制作するのが特徴です。引き伸ばされ、切り出された人物のイメージは身体性を帯び、当時の時間を目の前に引き寄せます。
　この取り組みは、日本工業大学がある埼玉県宮代町で、2015年に町民・NPO団体の方々が町制60周年を祝す取り組みとして始めた「まちをアルバムにする」に由来します。

"Kyojima Cutout" is an attempt to revive and share the memories of the past of the town and the people who lived there, using old photographs of KYOTOJIMA as material. It features the creation of life-size panels of the people in the photographs. The stretched and cut-out images of the people take on a physicality that brings the time of those days to life before the eyes of the viewer.
This initiative originated in Miyashiro-cho, Saitama Prefecture, where the Nippon Institute of Technology is located, as part of the "Turn the Town into an Album" project initiated in 2015 by residents and non-profit organizations as an initiative to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the town.

日常の生活環境を歴史的な視点から読み解く研究を多く行っています。そこに生きた人、そこに流れた時間、人の暮らしと生活環境の相互作用、一人ひとりの生きた時間や記憶へのまなざしを大切にしています。
複数のフィールドでまちづくりに関わり、医療・福祉分野との連携も重視しています。
