Atelier Shinkai is the creative studio and office of Jennifer Shinkai — textile artist and ikigai & inclusion coach.
For Sumida Expo 2025, Atelier Shinkai will host an exhibition of Jennifer Shinkai’s textile works together with photography by Mariko Yamada. Beyond the Expo, Atelier Shinkai continues to welcome the community with events such as Silent Book Club Sumida, creating a space where creativity, connection, and reflection come together.
Located on the first floor of Fukaiso, a 60-year-old former dormitory of the Fukai Lumber Company, Atelier Shinkai brings new life to a building rich in history while opening its doors to art and community.

アトリエ新開（Atelier Shinkai） は、テキスタイルアーティストであり、「生きがい」とインクルージョンのコーチとして活動する 新開ジェニファー のアトリエ兼オフィスです。
すみだ向島EXPO 2025 では、新開ジェニファーのテキスタイル作品とともに、写真家 山田真理子 の作品も展示されます。万博後も、アトリエ新開では サイレントブッククラブ隅田 など、多彩なイベントを通じて地域に開かれた創造と交流の場を提供しています。
会場は、60年以上前に建てられ、かつて深井木材株式会社の社員寮として使われていた歴史ある建物「深井荘（Fukaiso）」の1階にあります。アートとコミュニティ、そして建物の歴史が響き合う特別な空間です。
